Bags and purses

For a little while I have been working on crating my own clutch bag. It started out as a wool tapestry from a floral Cath Kidston pattern which took me a couple of weeks to complete. Using some navy suede material for the outer and a blue and white polka dot pattern for the lining, the bag way created and the tapestry was used to make the flap. I’m really pleased with how it looks though now I may be too worried to use it in case it gets lost!!

I’ve also been crocheting some purses! They are really quick and easy to make and look really cute when finished!

Today, being a bank holiday, I am hoping to finish a skirt I have started. Fingers crossed I manage to finish it today!

Happy birthday to me!

This time last week I turned the grand old age of 27. I have to admit every year I get older, birthdays become less and less exciting to celebrate! This one however turned out to be lots of fun! First we had pre-birthday cake – just because we could!

If that isn’t fun enough, I got to spend my actual birthday with the family at Carluccios in the met Quarter in Liverpool.

I was lucky enough to get some lovely liberty fabric from my husband as well as some fabulous Liz Earle skin products!

My lovely brother gave me the new Cath kidston book – already read from cover to cover!

I also picked up this fab dress from Warehouse with some birthday vouchers

My sister and niece kindly chose this necklace for me, a combination of my birthstone, initial and a little birdie

All in all a very spoilt lady đŸ™‚
